The selected candidate will directs the activities of subordinates engaged in the preparation of the established quality of food for service to passengers and crew. The person will also be responsible for the preparation of food in all outlets or in specific sections as per daily schedule.
This position requires availability to work on board during six months, and after that the candidate will be able to enjoy a minimum two months vacation before the next possible embarkation. Potential candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience as Junior Sous Chef or Chef Tournant onboard a medium size cruise vessel. In addition to the above a minimum of 6 years experience in active residence inn marriott food preparation within large culinary operation in various positions within the Kitchen/ Galley is required.
Responsible for checking that quantity and quality of items ordered from stores are received residence inn marriott and stored in proper condition according to Sanitation procedures and thereafter used in Accordance to standard recipes, reporting residence inn marriott any discrepancies to Executive Chef.
