For those of you that have been on the Oasis class ships, how is the wait to get off the ship at por

We are thinking about taking a cruise over Spring Break. It will be our second cruise (first was on Disney) we'll have two kids (18 14) with us. Looking at sailing out of Miami going on either Celebrity or Royal Caribbean. I'm wanting los angeles car rental companies a newer, fun ship w/ lots of stuff for the kids to do. I saw the RC Allure ship it looks like so much fun!
We've been on well over 16 cruises over the years. Some with kids, some without. Carnival and Royal are definately better with kids than Celebrity or Princess. Disney excluded since it is the best for kids, imo. With your kids being teens and older, I would look at Allure or Oasis from Royal. Two rock climbing walls, two flo-rider wave simulators, zip-line over the boardwalk area (all three can get very busy at times), los angeles car rental companies fitness area, teen club, all were HUGH hits with our teens. We were on Oasis last year and were just in awe of the ship. Have fun whichever you choose.
los angeles car rental companies RC without a doubt out of Florida. No comparison and we have done both, but this Spring Break will be our first time on Allure. Top notch entertainment on RC vs what I would call lounge acts on Celebrity. Kids (+me) love the flow rider and they are looking forward to the zip lines.
Ok, thank you all so much! I had my heart set on RC....had looked at the Allure los angeles car rental companies loved it....but then spoke w/ a travel agent who was pushing Celebrity. I suspected that she may be making more commission w/ Celebrity as I had always heard that RC was considerably better. She said that RC was for older couples; generally sailing los angeles car rental companies w/o kids ....but that's not what the ship looks like to me! I'm going to check into the cruises sailing out of FL tonight hopefully can get something booked.
Norwegian, price was cheapest when we went with them about 13 years ago. Boat was blah, cruise was relaxing for what it was. Food, entertainment, etc, were run-of-the-mill. Not impressed with ship. Only sailed with them the one time, and probably won't again.
Carnival. Fun ship is their motto, and it is fun. Any cruise will be what you make of it. Let your hair down and do/try things you may not do anywhere else. Cruises with kids, I made a complete fool of myself. Entered the best legs contest at the prodding of my two boys. Didn't win, but embarassed my girls and they all remember this as the cruise that they had the most fun on. Have been on 4 different Carnival ships and enjoyed them all.
Royal. Best ships, hands down. Royal places their ships in catagories by sizes. Voyager class is the size that sails from Galveston. Freedom class is larger with a few more bells whistles on the shiips los angeles car rental companies than voyager size. Oasis class is newest and largest on the seas. Only thing is can say about them is WOW! Ovrall great ships, good kids areas, not overly pricey. The larger ships cost more, but imo, are worth it. We have been on 8 different RC ships and enjoyed them all.
Celebrity is affiliated with Royal, and Princess with Carnival. They are both more romantic, relaxing than Royal and Carnival. los angeles car rental companies Both have the standard ship amenities. Food, service was a step above RC and Carnival. Doesn't have as much for the kids other than standard kids areas . One cruise each on Cele, and Prin. Both were very good.
Holland America is the senior citizen center on water. The one cruise we did on HA, out of 1500 passengers on board, only about 50 of us were under 60. Not an exaggeration. Best service of any of the ships we've been on, but were bored during the day. Good for relaxing tho.
Using the Frisco-mentality-ideology lol, Norwegian is wrong side of the tracks. Carnival, while nice would be like The Colony. RC would be like Frisco, Celebrity and Princess los angeles car rental companies like Highland Park, and HA like visiting Grandma at the retirement center.
For those of you that have been on the Oasis class ships, how is the wait to get off the ship at ports? Also, how is the embarkation/debarkation and buffet lines? I have always wanted to go on the bigger los angeles car rental companies ships, but I know that even on the Freedom class size, the lines can be overwhelming. I keep thinking that the more passengers, the worse it would be, but maybe they have some was to accommodate.

Lines for getting off at ports were just the same as with any of the ships. They try to accomodate guest with excursions first, but there are always the pushy few that need to be off before anyone los angeles car rental companies else.
Breakfast and lunch have always been the issue for us. We needed a larger table to fit all 7 of us, and seeing 2 or 3 sitting at a table for 8 is always disappointing. Finding seating in the buffet los angeles car rental companies areas are challenging on all of the cruises that we have been on with the kids. If they are saving room for more, then good, but I will usually watch and see if anyone joins them. I usually just hope some of their party left before they were done. We have just reserved ourselves to eating breakfast in the formal dining hall with the younger kids, and let the older two (when appropriate) fend for themselves. We do the formal dining los angeles car rental companies for dinner or go to one of the specialty restaurants. We didn't notice any longer lines for the buffets that any of the other RC ships. When you go into the buffet area, go to the line at the left instead of the right if it's open. Funny, but it just seems like everyone gravitates to the line to the right for some reason. We do as well unless we notice that we r just standing in the line. lol
We are heading on our 12th RC Cruise in 2 weeks, los angeles car rental companies this time on the Mariner....never been on her but have sailed on her sister ship the Voyager! los angeles car rental companies We also loved the Oasis...huge ship, wasn't sure if we would like it...but boy oh boy it had so much 'to do. We no longer have small kids...they are adults and cruise on their own so we didn't pay much attention to the activities! We were amazed how fast everyone was able to get off the ship at each port. You won't be disappointed with an RC cruise!!
