I know that comment was made to be snarky, but after watching this guy kill himself, and the other snowmobile that broke loose and headed into the crowd, the X Games might do well to review the inclusion of the snowmobiling events as part of their lineup.
I have now gone to the bottom floor of my company s building 3 times today because of tornado warnings. Not even sure why we re all here at this point. 22 Babar 2.0 Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:03 PM
free country so let people do what they want. However, ESPN should be liable for promoting this sport and encouraging kids to kill themselves just as Philip Morris is responsible baltimore hotel for marketing cigarettes, right? You can choose to smoke, but gov. told big tobacco to stop telling people it was sexy. ESPN is selling the same way PM did. Sue those MFers. 37 spencer096 Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:16 PM
Another thing how the hell did that snowmobile get its throttle stuck? Don t they have deadman switches on those things to prevent that fuck up from happening? If not that s a major fuck up on the part of the X Games not to mandate it. 41 Mantis baltimore hotel Toboggan Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:19 PM
Maybe these guys keep doing this because they are getting paid millions of dollars. I doubt it though. I m sure Tony Hawk and Shaun White are making lot of money. But I m guessing baltimore hotel there s not much money for other middle of the road athletes. 46 mizerle06 is sarah phillips Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:21 PM
Is that what happened? The first 4 seasons were great, 5th was pretty good, but I quit into the 6th. It won best drama it s first 4 years on the air, just as Mad Men did. 51 YYSA Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:30 PM
I still thoroughly enjoyed the Law and Orders with Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson. Why NBC decided to cancel baltimore hotel the original series and start up that LA Law and Order is beyond me. 52 mizerle06 is sarah phillips Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:31 PM
Yep. Sorkin left the show entirely after season 3 or 4. Can t recall why. Perhaps he s as an insufferable dickbag in real life as he is a good writer .from what I ve heard. 54 otis sistrunk Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:37 PM
It never got bad, but after Stephen Hill left and Dianne Westin and then Fred Thompson became the DA every episode felt like it was trying to say something profound and every case was this landmark case. I liked the earlier seasons baltimore hotel when it was usually just someone got murdered baltimore hotel and they eventually found out that it was his wife. No profundity, just Sam Waterston, Stephen Hill, and Jill Hennessy sitting in an office drinking whiskey and congratulating themselves at the end of the episode. 56 HuskerDawg Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:38 PM
I read somewhere that he took full credit for the Christmas episode in season 1 (the homeless Korean war vet dies of exposure near the mall) even though the show credits list him and another writer. The other writer called bullshit and said that the story was based on his father who was, for a time, a homeless Korean war vet. Sorkin then backtracked by claiming that the whole thing was a joke.
Once the old dude died. Ormman? Law and Order is some good tv overall though. It has fallen off a bit as they do some headline-grab themed shows which are turrible. baltimore hotel 60 Mantis Toboggan baltimore hotel Says: January 30th, 2013 at 2:42 PM
No you don t have to be. Anytime they raise a political issue the show s writers, baltimore hotel especially in the early seasons, did a pretty decent job of explaining both sides of the issue, before of course picking the side that Hollywood liberals would typically espouse.
Kaiser baltimore hotel you re spot on. My cousin baltimore hotel won the XGames baltimore hotel gold in Skier X a few years ago and it was left off the X-Games this year. He pays his own way yearly to compete overseas in skier cross. 63 PeerLessPrices Says: January 30th, 2013 at 3:01 PM
I got called out by Rondoman for saying a killswitch wouldn t do much good if you re not on the bike. You can t have an 8 foot cord (which was suggested) running from your wrist or vest when you are either flipping with the snowmobile in the air or flipping off of the snowmobile in the air. Another suggestion brought up, having the engine shut off if weight isn t being pushed down on the handlebars, wouldn t work because if you re in the air and doing flips weight baltimore hotel is not going to be pushed on the bike. 67 otis sistrunk Says: January 31st, 2013 at 1:39 AM
