Receive a $200/wk discount when renting any week starting on 6/1, 6/8, or 6/15. The water temp during these weeks in the afternoon can range between 67 degrees and 79 degrees. Forget about a sunrise swim. But the early summer weather is beautiful.

You can throw a stone from the cottage into the water, however, we do have steps between the cottage and the water. You can also drive directly to the water via a lane way. The dock and storage shed occupy the flat area at the base of the bank. At the top of the bank is a very large deck that offers wonderful views as does the long screened in porch on the front of the cottage.
We have enlarged our dock to 60' that includes a 20' x 20' deck with swim ladders at the end. Half of the deck is covered. It features a swinging hawaii beach hotels bench from the roof. Two options are available for securing a boat. A 14' row boat and double seat sea kayak is available. Please note that the owners home is located at the back of the property. The owner may occasionally make use of the dock or deck facilities. Capt. Steve is a fishing guide so you may want to ask a few angling questions!

Please bring your linens for the week. We also recommend water shoes for our guests for swimming. We have a pebble and shale beach. The beach has a gradual drop off. The water depth is 8' approximately 75' from shore and is marked by a buoy. The cottage is a stones throw from the water, but does require climbing 38 new and well maintained steps to the beach. Access to the beach is also available via the lane way. Parking is available there as well Septic systems require that only toilet hawaii beach hotels paper be used, not kleenex, etc...
Terms and Conditions: The Guest Cottage is a housekeeping cottage. Please do your best to leave it in the same condition as when you arrived. Directions to the cottage: If coming from Ithaca: Take Rt. 34 North and travel up the long hill along the lake until you come to a "T" in the road. An abandoned Citgo gas station will be on the left hand side. Turn left at this point and you will then be on Rt. 34B North. Follow Rt. 34B North about 7 miles to the hamlet of Lake Ridge. Lake Ridge is just north of the AES Cayuga power station that you will see on the left. After you see the sign for Lake Ridge (the hamlet), look for the Lake Ridge Rd. which angles off to the left. Take a left onto Lake Ridge Rd. (A boat yard is on your immediate right once you are on Lake Ridge Rd.) You will pass Cuddeback Rd. and then Nut Ridge Rd. on the left. After passing these you will come to a four way stop at Atwater Rd. Take a left on Atwater Rd. Atwater Rd. will curve left at 90 degrees and then turn right at 90 degrees. Proceed through these turns and then pass by Brooks Rd. on the left. The next road to the left is Middlecott hawaii beach hotels Rd. (You will also see our "Knapp" sign over the mailboxes) Turn left onto Middlecott Rd. Rabbit Run Rd. (gravel lane) then turns almost immediately to the right from Middlecott Rd. Follow this to the end and you will be at the guest cottage. The cottage hawaii beach hotels is stained dark brown with Adirondack red trim. If coming from Syracuse: Determine the best route to take to Auburn. This may involve taking hawaii beach hotels the Thruway to exit 40 (Weedsport) which would put you on Rt. 34. You would then take Rt. 34 south to Auburn. Or, you may choose to take Rt. 5 to Auburn until you reach the intersection with Rt. 34. In either hawaii beach hotels case take Rt. 34 heading south out of Auburn. Approximately 7 miles south of Auburn in the town of Flemming, take a right hand turn on Rt. 34B. (Note that 34B starts here so that you cannot turn left on 34B even if you wanted to.) Follow Rt. 34B for approximately 15 miles south until you reach the small village of King Ferry. Continue through hawaii beach hotels the intersection (stop sign only) staying on Rt. 34B South. As you proceed south about 1.5 miles, the first road on your right will be Center Rd. The next road you encounter about 1 mile further will be Atwater Rd. Atwater Rd. is marked with a sign, but is easy to miss. (If you pass an abandoned Agway store then you have just missed Atwater Rd.) Take a right hand turn on Atwater Rd. You will be heading west at this point. Proceed west to a stop sign. This is the intersection with Lake Rd. Go through the intersection staying on Atwater Rd. Atwater Rd. will curve left at 90 degrees and then turn right at 90 degrees. Proceed through these turns and then pass by Brooks Rd. on the left. The next road to the left is Middlecott Rd. (You will also see our "Knapp" sign over the mailboxes) Turn left onto Middlecott Rd. Rabbit Run Rd. (gravel lane) then turns almost immediately to the right from Middlecott Rd. Follow this to the end and you will be at the guest cottage. The cottage is stained dark brown with Adirondack red trim. If coming from Buffalo: Proceed east on the New York State Thruway (I-90) and take the Waterloo exit (Exit 41). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. At that point you will be heading south on Rt. 414. Stay on 414 for only about a block or so. You will shortly come to the junction with St. Rt. 318. Turn left on 318 heading south-east and go to the end of 318 in about 4 miles. Rt. 318 ends at a 5 corner intersection. Turn left at this point and proceed east on combined St. Rt. 5/U.S. 20. You will travel east on this combined route for about 1.5 miles to the junction of St. Rt. 90. Turn right on Rt. 90 and drive south along Cayuga Lake. You will pass though several small towns including the town of Aurora. Shortly after you leave the town of Aurora, you'll pass a road veering to the right called Lake Rd. Do NOT take this Lake Rd. Stay on Rt. 90 until just before King Ferry. You will reach a 90 degree turn in Rt. 90 to the east just outside of King Ferry. If you continue straight on a town road at that point you will be on Lake Rd. Stay right, and take Lake Road at this point. Pass by the Triangle Restaurant on your immediate left and come to the stop sign. Go straight south on Lake Rd. until you come to the next stop sign. This is the junction with Atwater Rd. Take a right on Atwater road proceeding west towards the lake. After turning right onto Atwater, the road will curve left at 90 degrees and then turn right at 90 degrees. Proceed through these turns and then pass by Brooks Rd. on the left. The next road to the left is Middlecott Rd. perfect cottage for our week with friends. quiet neighborhood. perfect beach, excellent dock, excellent access to Cayuga Lake. Plenty of hiking, but limited bicycling unless you are willing to start with a hill climb. Close enough, but not too close to Ithaca.
