Toyota and the unintended acceleration issue that resulted in more than eight million Toyota and Lexus cars being recalled in 2009 and 2010 has resurfaced yet again. CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 program aired a segment earlier this week stating that it obtained documents written tour buses in alaska by Toyota engineers in 2006 that showed there was a problem tour buses in alaska with its adaptive cruise control system that CNN said resulted in "sudden unintended acceleration."

Yes, that article is lnaurtaly business related. What's going on is that Toyota didn't properly test those brakes somehow. Resulting in a massive recall, potential lawsuits from the families of people that died as a result and huge losses of money to the company. Toyota had developed a reputation for manufacturing quality cars but now that reputation has been badly tarnished, which will hurt their sales for years to come. The company is trying to put a positive spin' on the matter with all sorts of apologies and promises to correct the issue, but it's too late.
