It s the only way I can explain their mysterious interviews. Don t get me wrong I love SWTOR and play every day but it s like an actor still being vague and teasing about a movie we ve all already seen.
What I want from them is to tell me what their plan is for SWTOR, and if in the future it doesn t work out, tell me why it didn t, and we ll be done with it. Being quiet just to protect either your own or your already-not-so-beloved-anymore-company s name is just treating your player base poorly, a reason why many left, if you recall.
That just annoys me even more, if you re going to give the community the finger yet again come to the forums and do it yourself instead of letting the community manager take the heat. At this point they re not using them to manage anything, they re just using them to take the fall for the developers shortcomings. Poor Joveth Flameshield Gonzalez.
To top it all off, because of all ^ that, players voice their opinions, and get labeled as trolls by other (slightly more patient) players, and get chased off either the forums or the servers entirely.
That whole situation is just counter-productive, and all BioWare has to do to fix it is talk to us, but they re satisfied with shutting up and letting players eat each other just so noyone can say, HEY, I THOUGHT YOU SAID , AND NOW IT ISN T HAPPENING .
