Janko Tipsarevic kept alive his bid to qualify for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals on Wednesday cocktail tom cruise when he advanced to the BNP Paribas Masters third round. Eighth seed Tipsarevic defeated Dutch qualifier Igor Sijsling 6-4, 7-6(0) in one hour and 48 minutes. It was his 30th hard-court cocktail tom cruise match win of the season (56-24 overall record).
Fellow London hopeful Nicolas Almagro also remained in contention. The 11th-seeded Spaniard battled past compatriot Albert Ramos 7-6(1), 6-7(4), 6-3 in two hours and 43 minutes to set a third-round cocktail tom cruise clash with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga , the 2008 champion. Tsonga will qualify for the circuit finale if he beats Almagro.
Fourth seed David Ferrer , who has already qualified for the season-ending championships, is one match win from equalling his best performance in Paris. Ferrer, a quarter-finalists in 2005 (l. to Roddick, 2007 (l. to Nalbandian) and 2011 (l. to Isner), defeated his fellow Spaniard Marcel Granollers 6-1, 6-3 in 78 minutes. He has won an ATP World Tour-best six titles this year (tied with Roger Federer ).
France's Richard Gasquet , the No. 12 seed and 2007 semi-finalist (l. to Nalbandian), saw his perfect record against Kevin Anderson come to an end when the South African won 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-1 in two hours and 18 minutes. Anderson won 75 per cent of his service points and hit 13 aces.
