I ve been looking luxury rental cars san francisco at toy haulers and some older motor homes also. I found a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder with 37,000 miles on it and it s extremely clean. Second owner who has owned it for last 8 years and has always stored it under cover. New tires, Onan 5500 generator with 450 hours, new awning covers above all of the windows, everything works great. Both a/c s blow very cold air, 5000 pound hithc, back up camera, prettty luxury rental cars san francisco well loaded I think.
I know absolutely nothing about motor homes but this seems like a very nice used motor home at a very reasonable price, especially for what we want to use it for. Just looking for something to take to some races within Texas and maybe ocasionally some surrounding states. It has a Ford V-10 gas engine and as I stated it is extremely clean, especially for it s age. You can tell the owner was meticulous in maintaining the motor home, inside and out. He just recently bought a new Diesel motor home is the reason for selling. Anyone luxury rental cars san francisco have any knowledge or information on these types of motor homes? Is it a big drawback it has a gas engine? He s asking around 27,000 but know he s somewhat negotiable.
Gas prices are sketchy but I saw on another message board a post about gas under 3 in Texas so maybe it s worth rolling the dice. Oh, a friend of mine had one around that year, maybe an 02, pretty trouble free all around too. He sold his in a financial crunch.
Yes, gas mileage sucks, around 7-8 mpg the owner said. Are most of the motor homes around this year model and size gas or diesel and is it a huge drawback that it is gas when reselling it? I assume it s one of the reasons the price is where it is though with it being a gas engine. I d be towing a trailer, 16ft long but it s tall at around 7 1/2 feet and about the same width.
People who buy motor homes know what they are getting luxury rental cars san francisco into about fuel economy but I think it would be nice to pull into the pits and use a joystick on the inside to level as opposed to jacks and boards and chocks on the outside that I have to deal with now. You need to see what you really want to give up one way or another.

He sold it two days before I could make a firm decision. I work for an airline and wanted to wait until we found out if our contract was going to pass. He had it for sale for several months then sold it right before I found out the results, kinda funny how it worked out. Good thing is I didn t have to think about it any more I guess. It was unbelievably nice for a 2000 model and very low miles, decent price.
I still can t decide if I want a motor home or toy hauler. I have a friend with a Sprinter van and he says it is the best way to go and they just stay in hotels. He s had everything; motor home, numerous toy haulers, and likes the Sprinter luxury rental cars san francisco van and staying in a hotel the best. He says the toy haulers are a headache and constantly breaking. Any opinions or experience on this from those owning toy haulers?
luxury rental cars san francisco If you have kids and intend on traveling long distances or arriving late at night, a motorhome pulling a trailer with the toys has the advantage of never needing to find someplace large enough to get in and turn around when you hear Dad, I gotta pee....NOW . I heard this every 50 miles on the return voyage from the Black Hills. 700+ miles in 50 mile increments.....makes for a looooonggggg day.

I can t believe you caved to the kids I figured you were raised like me for traveling. We stopped when Dad was damned good and ready to stop Good point on traveling with kids, mine are all grown. With a trailer, you have wheels when you make your final destination.
Motorhomes are great for bike haulers. I have made a rack on the back that will haul 2 dirtbikes while leaving the trailer ball empty for other things. sometimes pull a trailer with more toys on it too.

We re doing the pull behind RV thing right now, and making frequent pit stops, sometimes alongside the highway for the boy. That will probably change/get interesting as the 2 yr old is now housebroke....
I thought I d be able to find a toy hauler at a decent price but that s not been the case so far or if they are priced decently they sell really fast. I was looking at one online about 4 hours away and wanted to see one like it in person so went to an RV show over the weekend. Guy sold it Saturday and it had only been listed on craigslist for a week and believe it was the only place he listed it. It was a 2012 Raptor 30FS (bumper pull) and he was asking 24,000 and said he had 3 people offer him asking price. Only used 3 times, less than an hour on the generator. Great price I guess though I ve seen identical leftover 2012 s and they were asking low 30 s. Warranty was about out also so that could be expensive if anything was wrong with it but guess it was still a great price.

For some reason, when you add a rear ramp door, the price goes up double. SImilarly equipped, sized and year travel trailer goes for half that or less. And so many TH s have some really spartan furnishings and interiors, still can t figure out where they get the price from.
Keep shopping, the deal will come along if you re diligent and patient. In your area, keep your eyes peeled, snowbirds that didn t make it through the winter will be selling (sounds awful, but it happens every year).
