Las Vegas high rise specialists were aware of this bulk purchase as it had been in the works for awhile choice hotel as the VEER TOWERS remaining units, with the exception of the penthouses, choice hotel were pulled out of available inventory. These towers, despite their prime location, were always a tough sale at $750 psf. If you look at the photo above, you will see that the west side of the east tower and the east side of the west tower look directly into each other and Mandarin choice hotel obstructs some of the south views of both towers and Aria blocks some of the west side of the west tower. High rise buyers are all about views and location. The location of VEER TOWERS can't be beat.
As soon as MGM CityCenter choice hotel sold its first units in VEER TOWERS they had to service the taxes and HOA dues on the unsold condos - How is that done? Rent them out - So the VEER CONDOS were quickly rented at below market rates making the ROI for these condos virtually non existent for any buyer.
The logical way for MGM/Mirage choice hotel to sell these VEER units was a bulk purchase. A little birdie told me VEER condos may be ON SALE SOON at greatly reduced price levels. BOOKMARK THIS BLOG for news of the VEER 2013 condo sale.
