9/14 Update: the link below still leads to an application page with 75,000 bonus points offer, although the terms and conditions do state that applications must be made on September 12. So proceed at your own risk, but with the screenshot below, you may be able to still get 75,000 points:
American Express is offering the AMEX Business Gold Rewards Card with a 75000 bonus points for today only , September 12. The 75,000 signup bonus requires you to spend $10,000 within the first four months of card membership.
To put this in perspective, most of this year this card hasn't offered any kind of bonus, and only more recently has it been available with a 50,000 bonus points signup, after spending $5000 within the first 3 months. The 75,000 offer has been offered several times before, for example the AMEX Business Gold Rewards for 2 days last month and the one day AMEX Business Gold 75000 offer on November 3 . This is as good a public offer as I've seen for this card, although I got the prior incarnation, the "old" AMEX Business Gold Rewards card with a targeted 75,000 bonus for $2000 spend last year. I don't know if AMEX is running similar targeted offers for the new Business Gold Rewards card, but I suspect that the required spend to receive the bonus has increased, even for targeted offers.
As you probably know, United is NOT a partner of Membership Rewards so you can't transfer points to United MileagePlus. You can transfer to Air Canada's Aeroplan program to book Star Alliance awards, but in most cases it's not a good option due to the post-devaluation award chart and fuel surcharges on most partners.
There are also periodic transfer bonuses to Delta, sacramento airport car rental and currently there's a 35% transfer sacramento airport car rental bonus to Air France/KLM Flying sacramento airport car rental Blue, although I can't really get excited about either since there are no first class awards on partners using Delta miles, and Air France, sacramento airport car rental although it does allow first class awards on partners, doesn't for Air France itself except for elites.
The Verdict: If you were planning sacramento airport car rental to get this card anyway and can meet the 10,000 minimum spend without a problem, it's a no-brainer to apply for this card today. Particularly if you have high airline spend, this is a good card. I personally don't value this card as much as others because most of my airline travel is on awards, so at most I'm paying for taxes and fees on tickets. And while you can meet minimum spend with things such as Amazon sacramento airport car rental payments, the minimum required spend isn't as lucrative on this card as, say, the Ink Bold or Ink Plus , where you could turn the 50,000 bonus into a 100,000 bonus due to the 5X categories. sacramento airport car rental Another thing to be aware of: unlike the Ink Bold, which has no foreign transaction fees, the AMEX Business Gold Rewards card *does* charge foreign transaction fees--so don't use this card abroad.
