The next stop takes guests on the People Mover to the Greektown area. Sites here include the Greektown Casino and the First Congregational Church, which served as a stop on the Underground Railroad and safe haven for slaves seeking freedom. After hopping back on the People Mover, guests finish the tour with landmarks such as the Spirit of Detroit and the Joe Louis Fist sculptures, the Renaissance Center, the Guardian Building, the Penobscot Building and the renovated Westin Book-Cadillac Hotel, finishing back at the café on Broadway were the tour began.
The second offered tour, "Detroit's Rise, Fall, and Renewal," offers guests a look into the rich history of the city during a more prosperous florida motels inns for sale time, from the construction of amazing architecture to the recent renewal projects occurring in those same buildings today.
