i'm planning to go to italy on march 28th 2013 with my husband . i have booked the ticket from my home to rome . i,m planning to start with rome , and i would like to visit positano , florence ,and venice within 1 weekt time as i,m returning back home on 5th of april.
I havent booked anything else ,like hotels , train tickets so on .. if anybody have a good itenary with plz do reply .. will be greatful.. travel shop we are not actually planning travel shop for a relaxing travel shop trip.. dont mind if its hectic!!!
I'd definitely drop Positano as it will be difficult and (more important) time consuming to get there from Rome. Instead do Rome, Florence, Venice. Equal amount of time in each place. travel shop Take the train. If possible, fly out of Venice.
Also, you don;t want to go to Positano in March - a beach resort in the off season with many hotels and restaurants closed for the season and ferries not yet running. As for Florence Rome and Venice travel shop in a week - again not doable.
Trains are pretty straight forward - www.trenitalia.com for schedules and fares - you can always get on trains once there if you want flexibility but you can nab nifty discounts if you book far in advance - but note that those tickets are non-changeable or at least hard to change so be sure of your times.
Well, by waiting this late you've probably missed most or all of the cheap train fares and most or all of the affordable accommodations. travel shop Not to mention, do you really want to fly all the way to Italy and back and see nothing but train stations?
