I think Sutter is managing things the way he sees fit and I really do trust his judgement at the end

I'd like to keep this brief, because continental airlines homepage this isn't really about me. It's about you. So much of the success at LA Kings Insider has been through the contributions of Kings fans. You are the ones who influence the direction of this website and make your thoughts and opinions heard by the Kings organization.
It is my duty to create the conversation, but it is through your efforts that this conversation is driven. In the past three and a half years, you have provided a collective yet diverse voice that is in a major way responsible for making this forum such an enormous success.
Rich Hammond's role in providing the eyes and ears of this team while at home and on the road will be continued by my efforts. The integrity with which he moderated this site will never be compromised. This is a neutral, independent home for Los Angeles Kings and National Hockey League news.
I'm also excited for the possibilities of continuing to share multimedia in providing a link to the team while it is on the road. Photographs, videos, audio interviews, podcasts and all methods of continuing the link between this team and a digitally savvy fanbase will be utilized.
A little bit about myself: I attended my first Los Angeles Kings game in November, 1986, a game the Kings lost 5-3 to the Vancouver Canucks. I play on two rec league hockey teams and wear number 11 in honor of my sister, who had a crush on Mike Donnelly when she was six years old. I have covered hockey in seven countries, continental airlines homepage nine states and four different provinces. I once spent 24 consecutive hours on a bus traveling between Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and Everett, Washington.
For those who followed my NHL and Los Angeles continental airlines homepage sports coverage while I reported for FOX Sports and FOX Sports West, thank you. I'm looking forward to continuing that objective and accountable analysis continental airlines homepage and am beyond excited to hit the ground running on a busy weekend. As I become more comfortable with this platform and the rhythm continental airlines homepage of providing regular updates and analysis, I ll be looking to develop my voice on this site and through @LAKingsInsider on Twitter. Let me know what you like! Let me know what you don t like! All ideas will be considered.
welcome ..its a great class of students here !!!! some smart ones some ..ah not so smart ones some who tries to be funny ..some who are not funny at all but overall a fun loving caring bunch of misfits who all celebrated our first cup last year .
I didn t see much from Dwight King and my guess is that Penner will be in vs the quacks on Saturday. continental airlines homepage The defense is playing really well. What stood out the most was the lack of that dreaded net presence .
@Shakes, will it offend you that I ve never had Tommy s in my life? It s a crime, considering there was one so close to the old Iceoplex. For me, the eternal debate has always been In N Out versus Fatburger. OK, flame away
Let s start with what we like honest non-biased reporting, moderation to a certain degree, responses where you see fit, pictures from the hotel room with an effort to include Munters units, the three keys with voting from the bloggers, insider suite night (even though continental airlines homepage I havent been able to attend), after game responses from both teams/coaches, updates on injured players.
Welcome continental airlines homepage aboard. Glad to see we ve gt a regular, employed (and hopefully paid) writer for our beloved Insider. Props to Jim, Bob and everyone else who held down the fort and kept the Insider alive, especially enjoyed Miller s reminiscence about arenas that have come and gone.
Jon is an accomplished talent that will undoubtedly raise the bar that Rich had set. I want to thank the Kings organization for making sure the Insider will never lose it s credibility by remaining and independent voice from the team. There is nothing like reading unbiased material, good or bad about the day to day workings of this organization.
Welcome to the nuthouse and thank you for taking over the reins. Rich Hammond s shoes should be hard to fill in, so I would suggest you wear your own. Looking forward to your reporting on everything Kings and Hockey.
continental airlines homepage What caught my eye (ear?) most when I first heard about you Jon was your play-by-play experience for a few different lower level teams including a WHL club. A very unique skill indeed. I said it before on another thread but it bears repeating. You were an underrated writer in this market IMO but that will soon change dramatically.
What Rich created is now yours to fill out anyway you see fit. The core group of us who were with Rich on the Daily News have, in part, helped create a very unique community. But that is all in the past now IMO. Many (including myself) will still occasionally reference inside jokes about Mikus and Munters but the reality continental airlines homepage is, as you know, that was then and this is now. In some very profound ways, this an entirely different product with a different feel. So with that, good luck and welcome to your very own LA King Insider 2.0!
@Paul Armbruster (KingsNewsDaily.com), Thank you for the kind words and for promoting and re-tweeting my FOX material. Feedback is what will continue to make this a successful site. Hang in there as I get into my routine and figure out the ins and outs of this blog I m looking forward to all the possibilities on this upcoming roadie! And, as always, thank you for reading. JR
An official welcome now Jon! It s great to finally know who s steering the ship on this excellent blog. Just wondering, will you continue the tradition of Insider s Suite Night at select games? I think more than a few of us hope so. Once again, welcome aboard!!!
As i said before welcome. Please dont ban me for 14months or so i wonder continental airlines homepage if there is a Rich not to the new guy, Watch pr0cess He can he a handful.. Anyways good to see you on the broadcast last night. Welcome again.
continental airlines homepage Good to have you aboard and finally a reason to check this site hourly again. One request, when you do the opponent preview it would be cool to see their projected line combinations as well, so we can see the match-ups that will be battling the ice.
without kopitar kings arent even a playoff team .. he means everything to this team . the offense is going to continue to be terrible until he gets a healthy knee .. because right now hes a shell of his former self .. he makes everyone around him better than they are .. but right now he cant do that because of his injury . i dont care what he says hes no where near 100 percent
the fact that he is able to gut it out and play may squeek us into the playoffs . but thats where it ends . with kopitar playing with this injury the kings will not repeat ..unless his knee magically gets back to normal the kings will not score . this team resembles nothing of last years playoffs team where we dominated games
now we are back to the terry murray era with kopitars knee as fans going into games hoping continental airlines homepage we can win instead of knowing we are going to win because we are the dominant team this way of watching games brings back horrifying memories of terry murray . you know where we just hope a lucky point shot bounces off somebodies shinguard and into the net . all the passing is gone .. its because everything flows thru a healthy kopitar .. he makes everybody better .. now he cant cut and make moves in the zone .. hes strictly north south .. we are in for pain unless his knee heals .. oh and yes willie continental airlines homepage mitchell injury does hurt us badly as well , but i feel with a healthy kopitar we could overcome that and still win the cup .. but with kopi playing like this NO WAY floggin idiot kopi had to play over in europe instead of just resting up .. i love him and hes my favorite player but i hate him for this decision
. oh and by the way , let me be the first to say it if it already hasnt been said trade mike richards as fast as u can i know lombardi wont do that of course , but ever since his concussion last year , hes been terrible . if richards looks like this now just imagine what he will look like 3 or 4 years from now when he is in his 30s jesus talk about slow and invisible . i actually believe continental airlines homepage penner continental airlines homepage is faster than him , and has a better stop start .. schenn and simmonds for this guy ? . im not complaining because we won the stanley cup but jeeez lol lol well, actually i am complaining , as it is my nature .. anyways , thats just my 2 cents . have a great day kings fans , and welcome to jon rosen . peace
-$650k guy is demoted but wait, he still leads the team in scoring, still a plus, puts forward a great effort every night, got Carter started, and likely to do the same with Richards if left there long enough ..
As suggested continental airlines homepage last year King is too slow, no drive now will get him a spot in the pressbox, he hasn t got it for this level of play but I respect all your opinion continental airlines homepage s when you beleive he and Jordon saved our season last year. Really
Ya, darn right I m mad about Cliffy being demoted already off the 2nd line, but this is professional sports folks, money talks and once again someone has to save face to the owners for not only bringing Penner in the first place but giving him the $4m contract for this year.
@harty bud, you sound conflicted. You are angered at the demotion to the 4th line (a phrase DS would never use, and a concept he doesn t acknowledge) yet at the same time you feel Cliffy would be better continental airlines homepage off down there.
Also, you go on to compare continental airlines homepage the worthiness of a centerman to a left winger and I don t know if that s something you can do, although who am I to say since the NHL lists Jordy and Lewie as centers and claims we have 8 of them on our 24 man roster!
As for the decision and money, I m not so sure a 4 million dollar guy sitting 4 games is the best way to play money favorites. I mean if that really continental airlines homepage was a motivation, why sit him at all? Just let him work through it. Then there would be no need to do any kind of damage control in the first place.
I think Sutter is managing things the way he sees fit and I really do trust his judgement at the end of the day. Does he make mistakes? Certain
