Over the weekend some friends and I went on a two day get away to Seattle. We decided to cheap out on our hotel stay since we only intended to stay one night. How bad can it be? Just needed a place to rest our butts and take a shower. Although it was a 2-3 star hotel and we anticipated that it'd be at least decent, it was a little far from that. In fact, here's a " drawsomething " style of a picture I drew to depict new orleans boutique hotels what I mean by that and my experience staying there.
While I was showering the water would not drain. How gross. The water level kept getting higher and higher to the point where I just showered as fast as I could before I drowned in scum water. I was the first to shower and after putting on my clothes I went outside and told my friends about the draining problem. That literally was my last straw with this hotel. I even decided new orleans boutique hotels to give them a better name: Days Out
Prior to this we had other issues new orleans boutique hotels too and maybe since this place was only $100/night, that explained why we got what we paid for. But still, you would think that bathing in scum water would be something you'd get from a 1 star hotel.
Non-working complimentary wi-fi to which I called front desk to complain about in which they replied: "In theory, we are getting it fixed. We have no idea when it will be. You can talk to our manager tomorrow about that."
Ok maybe not all Days Inn hotels are like this but it was my first and unlucky/bad experience. If you have a better experience in defense of Days Inn, please comment below so maybe I have some hope of going back there again to use my 15% off discount. Maybe.
I m so sorry you had that experience. I have nothing good to say about that chain. After one too many bad experiences we ve given up on them. You ve given me an idea for a SERIES of posts. =) Reply Delete new orleans boutique hotels Add comment Load more...
