When I was in high school, my only goal in life was to see the world. I wanted to backpack Europe and trudge through the rainforest in South America and eat from local food vendors in Asia. There was a big breakthrough in Cuba and now I m stoked to try to plan a trip somewhere sweet!
haha it will be good if you can break them out of their shell! I m just going to avoid beginning a relationship with someone that doesn t want to travel it s too much sacrifice for me and it makes going alone a lonely experience, whereas traveling alone when single is quite happy.
I would love to travel more; I have some specific plans but funding is one of my concerns about travel. I m not going to let that stop me, though. That s why I work so much to enjoy that money! I ve never traveled alone and I really don t know how I d be with it.
Traveling is something I kind of put on the backburner for now. I love to travel and experience new places, but I want to focus on paying the rest of our consumer and student loan debt off first. There isn t much left of it so I m hoping to start traveling again next year. I m not sure how I would do traveling alone, maybe it would force me to not be introverted.
I also love to travel! I ve never done a solo trip and admire that you are able to step out all on your own. Because I travel for work as well, I find that my excitement overall for travel has decreased. I still love exploring new places and am very excited once I am there but the getting there I don t look forward to anymore.

I love travelling. Yes, often cities are not that different from what you get at home, and I can sort of understand why some people don t bother travelling (I too want a house and kids and to settle down BUT I also want to see the world). However, for me, there is nothing more exciting than experiencing the sights and sounds of a new destination. It makes my heart swell.
I love traveling solo because, as you mentioned, it is time to regroup but also because it is a chance international travel insuran for me to trust myself again. When I am in a new country with very different culture and language, I find that I need to trust my instincts and decision making more than I normally would. And it is also really freeing not having to worry about daily grind of stuff.
One thing I have learned is whenever you have the cash to travel, it seem like you don t have the time. And when you have the time, you often lack the cash necessary. Finding a balance of it is tough but so worth it. I hope you do get to go to Japan next year!
