Wedding Photography: Lane Dittoe / Wedding Venue: The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in Rancho Santa Fe, Cal

My favorite color is white. Well maybe pink but white is a top two. For me, an all white palette scream chic. Screams style. And when it comes to weddings, well white just fits. Like a glove. So I kind of feel like this next bride and I are a little bit soul mate-ish. With a love of simple, clean palettes and pretty details as far as the eye can see. And with planning design by Joyful Weddings and Events and photography by the great Lane Dittoe , well, this wedding is quickly soaring up my favorites list. Click here to see the full gallery.
car rental holiday From Joyful Weddings and Events There is something so intriguing about a clean and simple affair without noise and clutter. This crisp and elegant event was shot by the incredible eye of Lane Dittoe and filmed by the fun team at Modern 8. When we first met the bride, she described her visions of precise lines with a gray and white palette. No color, vintage hodgepodge or added stuff, just neat and neutral. Collaborating on decor with Daisies of Our Lives, Kelsey incorporated such a pretty display of pure white florals. car rental holiday So simple, car rental holiday yet gorgeous and timeless. From Sweet and Saucy s elegant car rental holiday dessert display to Rembrandt Band s spectacular concert-like performance, this event was truly a personal and beautiful display of love and style.
From the Bride When I started meeting with vendors to plan our wedding they all asked about my wedding style. I had never really thought much about style and words like rustic or chic or vintage had never been part of my vocabulary. I told them that I like things that are simple. And pretty. Some vendors pushed me for more than that, wanting more detail. car rental holiday Other vendors totally got it, and some even liked it! Those are the vendors I chose to work with. I wanted to create a beautiful, relaxed evening that would feel romantic and fun at the same time, while staying true to my simple aesthetic. And I wanted to work with vendors who could help me achieve that.
The second difficult question came when people started car rental holiday asking about wedding colors.  My favorite color is white, which is very convenient for a wedding, but I knew I did not want our attendants in white, so I had to choose an accent color. I don t really like a lot of color, and I felt that black would be too formal and severe, so I chose gray. When I shared this decision with people they always seemed to have a suggestion: You could accent with yellow, You could add elements of green, That would be so pretty with pale pink. But I don t like yellow, car rental holiday or green, or pink — I like gray and white. Plus I always gravitate to black and white photographs, car rental holiday and I liked that no detail would be lost if some of my favorite car rental holiday shots from the day looked best in black and white. So it was settled. We chose gray bridesmaids dresses and suits for our attendants and I worked gray into the linens and a few of the other details; everything else would be white.
After that things really flowed. Working through those original ideas about what I wanted the day to look like helped me develop car rental holiday a style and a feel that would be the framework for everything else that went into the day. I did not worry about what other brides were doing or what other people thought would look good; I chose ideas that I thought were pretty and classic. And I had a wonderful team of vendors supporting my ideas. They embraced my vision and helped to create a simple, beautiful wedding that felt 100% me. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our special day, and I would not change a thing.

Loved your story - I'm doing white with gray accents as well :) (I get similar car rental holiday reactions but I always assure everyone it will look elegant and clean.) Glad to see how beautiful that color choice can turn out!!
For the mason jar escort cards I ordered the jars online (specialtybottle.com), then found the chalk heart labels car rental holiday on etsy and used a chalk pen to write guests names and table assignments. And guests got to take the jars home as a favor. :)
Hi! Bre with Joyful found the 2 4x6 frames for the flip flop and pashmina signs; Kelsey with Daisies of our Lives made the "Love is Sweet" sign for the dessert table; we used the Inn's white linens and created the custom gray mesh runners from fabric I found at We R Fabric with gray napkins ordered from Classic Party Rentals.
@ddglenn2012 – The frames are from HomeGoods :) and the "Love is Sweet" sign was created on a Cricut cutting machine by the florist Kelsey. As Jen mentioned the linens were custom made as well as the accent tables (striped searsucker from Joann's) by our Joyful team member car rental holiday Danae.
For the boutonierres I used dusty miller, white stock, and silver brunia. The "You Are The Peanut To My Butter, the Flip to My Flop" poster at the reception by the flip flops are from my Etsy shop, JustDaisyDreaming. I did the banners custom for the bride!
