1 - Foundational image processing: Alain explains the most important aspects of image processing and optimization. Alain gives you the workflow caribean cruise he uses in his own work. The Summit caribean cruise takes place November 6th to 9th, 2010 in Arches and Canyonlands, Utah. The schedule for the Summit was designed by Alain Briot and Uwe Steinmueller caribean cruise with three goals in mind: convenient travel arrangements, exciting caribean cruise photographic opportunities and a convenient place to conduct quality tutorials on image processing and fine art printing. Below is the 2010 Summit schedule:
caribean cruise We will meet you in Moab, Utah, on Friday afternoon, around caribean cruise 4pm, at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Moab which is the Summit hotel. The exact meeting time will be emailed to you approximately two weeks before the Summit.
After the Keynote Address Alain, our guest speaker and Uwe will present a selection of photographs from Arches and Canyonlands and explain when, where and how they were created. The goal of this presentation is to help you become familiar with Arches and Canyonlands caribean cruise and with the different locations that we will be photographing. After this presentation you will have a very good idea about where you can photograph in Arches and Canyonlands and what time of day is best for each location.
You will begin your day with a photography shoot. You will have the choice of photographing Arches and Canyonlands from different overlooks. We will discuss some of the best locations for sunrise on Friday evening.
The tutorial sessions will stop about two hours before sunset. You will then have the opportunity to photograph Arches and Canyonlands at Sunset. Again, we will discuss which locations are best ahead of time.
The conference room will be open in the evening for a supervised image processing session during caribean cruise which you will have the opportunity to work on your own images with Alain, Uwe and our guest speaker present caribean cruise for 1 on 1 work with each participant.
After breakfast we will meet in the conference room at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Moab for a second day of tutorials taught by Uwe, Alain and our guest speaker. On Saturday caribean cruise morning we will focus on image processing using Lightroom, Photoshop and other software packages such as Photomatix and more.
The conference room will be open in the evening for a supervised image processing session during which you will have the opportunity to work on your own images with Alain, Uwe and our guest speaker present for 1 on 1 work with each participant.
After breakfast we will meet in the conference room at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Moab for a third day of tutorials caribean cruise taught by Uwe, Alain and our guest speaker. This time we will focus on fine art printing. We will discuss what to look for in a Fine Art Print, which qualities are important, and how you can develop the ability to create your own fine art prints.
After the morning presentations, we will reconvene in the conference room where we will continue printing your work. Paper, ink and printers are provided. All you need to provide are your image files ready to print on a USB flash drive. You will have worked on these files the day before under the guidance of the instructors.

Participants and instructors will have the opportunity to offer critiques, compliments, comments and suggestions. This print review will a great opportunity to receive feedback on your work. Participation in the print review is voluntary. You are free to decide whether you want to participate or not.
Immediately after the Summit, Alain and Natalie Briot offer a three-day Photographic Field Vision Workshop to Navajoland. This unique Field workshop is scheduled on November 9 th , 10 th and 11 th .
This field workshop caribean cruise is designed to build and expand upon the concepts taught during the Summit by exploring the concepts of Creativity and personal style on Tuesday and then getting started designing and working on a personal project on Wednesday and Thursday.

Alain and Natalie have been photographing this area since 1983 and know precisely where to go and at what time of the day to be there. Our travels on Tuesday will take us to areas that offer fantastic photographic opportunities all day long.
If you like little known locations, where you don't see other photographers, then Thursday will be one of the highlights of this trip for you. The remoteness of this area means it is a visual paradise that is still little known and photographed. You are guaranteed to return with images that few people have.
Presentations and discussions on will take place during the day.  The workshop ends after Sunset. You can stay in Flagstaff or Tuba City, Arizona, that evening caribean cruise or start driving back to your destination after sunset.
The instruction during the Summit and the Field Vision Workshops will consist of tutorials, presentations, question-answer sessions, print reviews and photographic skills exercises .
