As usual, breakfast at 7am and then we were on the road. It only took two and a bit hours so we had plenty of time to hang out at a trattoria at the dock where the owner was quite happy to sell us food and drink and then to provide complimentary food and wine to boot!
It was an excellent entry into magnificent Venice war of the worlds with tom cruise but our hotel was way off the main drag so we stayed on Lido and attended to various chores (mine being to find gelato) before attending a "farewell dinner" at a nearby restaurant as quite a few riders war of the worlds with tom cruise and one crew member Ciaran war of the worlds with tom cruise leave us here in Venice.

He was the final act and played guitar and sang fantastically well but not well enough to take a place. He had a great time in the 3 week competition and I am extremely proud of his achievements! Turned in late tonight but well worth it!
I started spin cycling in 1995 and in 2004 set off on my first outdoor tour in Italy with Ciclismo Classico. They fell over laughing when I told them I rode a Schwinn Spinner back home and I fell off, but not laughing, for the first 3 days until I got used to unclipping. I have since cycled all over Italy with Ciclismo.
After cycling from Paris to Istanbul last year with Tour D'Afrique, I am setting out with them in July 2012 for the Trans Europe Tour from Vilnius in Lithuania war of the worlds with tom cruise to Barcelona in Spain. It should be an amazing journey and I am very much looking forward to it.
