"United Airlines is scheduled to roll out an upgraded website. Improved features will include budget rental cars in oahu one that allows users to see where they rank in line for an upgrade to business or first class. The upgrade update will be available as soon as you book a ticket."
"Also making a reappearance on United's website will be an "expert mode" feature that allows you to view fare information by cabin. First class, for example, has certain codes for full-fare seats ("F"), discounted seats ("A") and a variety of upgrade categories budget rental cars in oahu including "R."
I remember when UA cut over to SHARES, some people were mad that they simply used CO's website with minor changes (like replacing OnePass with MileagePlus). Given the IT issues that UA had, I'm glad that they decided to focus on getting the website converted to SHARES first and then work on the redesign. That said, I was surprised that UA didn't replace the JPEG headers with the right post-merger font (FF Clan) as a simple interim brand consistency measure until the new website was done.
The only thing that really matters is how the list looks at the moment the GA is doing the upgrades. People change flights all the time. And all it takes is one cancelled flight with rollovers for any available seats to disappear.
budget rental cars in oahu I've booked flights where first or business was full and the loads must have changed umpteen times from the time of booking until boarding - and I got an upgrade. I'm not saying some flights don't remain static, but you can't predict which will and which will not.
I remember earning all of my frequent flier miles under Continental. I now know that "United" is saying that if I don't have movement on my account by a date and time determined by them, the hard earned points vanish. Gordon Bethune where are you?
If you haven't flown UA in a very long time then how is that loyalty? If you are willing to fly WN and start from scratch then why not just take a UA flight and keep your miles? Also, as a loyal customer wouldn't you qualify for free checked bag?

It is ANY activity on your account. That means you really don't even have to board an airplane to 'keep' the miles. You could have a UA credit card or MP dining. Anything.. It really isn't that hard. I mean if you are FF this is not a huge deal.
fyi: Most (if not all) of the airlines now have miles expiring after a period of no activity. I could be wrong but this was driven more by the accounting issues. budget rental cars in oahu Remember when you have miles the airlines have liability on the books for something.

I will be SO thrilled NOT to have to look at the old CO website. I could also say "what took them so long?" a website says more about an airline than the livery in terms of branding. But, I hope waiting this long for the website and ads, that they took the time to make them great.
To answer budget rental cars in oahu some of your questions. I have flown recently budget rental cars in oahu and have over a year until my points expire. As for it being sooooo easy, tha's a farce. I don't have a credit card with them nor do I need one. Being loyal to a brand over a 10+ year period doesn't mean you HAVE to fly them.
That's budget rental cars in oahu really great news, and I think it is actually a positive budget rental cars in oahu step in fixing up the mess of the last 6 months. budget rental cars in oahu I do however hope that they get the balance right: if all it does is suggest that all's good at the ranch then it will be a flop because it will sound very hollow. In comparison if it suggests (somehow) that this is still work in progress and try and build excitement behind the change budget rental cars in oahu then that would be better at repositioning the brand.
IMHO the other thing they need is to get the new uniforms out. Honestly, I think that they should have got everyone wearing the same thing on 3/3. Of course it wouldn't have mitigated a disaster, but right now I feel that everyone proudly showing off which side they came from is helping to establish a divisive us-vs-them mentality.
As a TWA 'Aviator' class FF decades ago, I still have miles and privileges on AA . Rather than mock it, I use it? I fly AA several time a year to keep my AAdvantage account active. Occasioanlly, I even buy an AA upgrade. I always opt for Choice seats.

You also keep your account active by using points, either a reward, upgrade or even using some points for a free magazine subscription. I too was worried by the change, being a Onepass member for so long my original card had EA and CO on it, but now I realize it's not likely any of my miles will ever expire.

Well said. I get sort of 'torqued' off with posts of people wining about not getting the perks when they don't put in the loyalty. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's not the people that fly 4, 6, or even 8 segments a year that pay the bills of the airline. Not to say that being loyal to a carrier for your annual vacation isn't appreciated, but it's not the level of loyalty we're talking about here with respect to FF perks. If you don't have a status, budget rental cars in oahu it's not applicable to you.
At least in UA 's case, simply having the airline credit card waives the expiration of miles, budget rental cars in oahu and offsets if you have a slower year and don't renew status, with priority boarding budget rental cars in oahu and other 'light' perks.
I'm looking forward to it too. While UA may be a couple steps behind other carriers on some of this capability. We can hope that means they've done their homework and will bring a more capable toolset to us.
I do not like the UA website, it is way to cluttered and un organized. Going to WN , it is one of my favorite airline websites. The problem is people seem to think WN can't change so when change happens (website, evolve interior, etc...) they go crazy and don't give them a chance.
Quoting STT757 ( Reply 17 ): Especially since I use the shop Mileage plus to buy my Wife flowers every Valentine's day, you get something budget rental cars in oahu like 50 miles for every dollar spent at FTD for flowers during Valentine's Day.
I do the same, it was 30x miles on FTD this year. Also, you DO NOT need to have a UA credit card to accrue miles through Mileage Plus Dining. If you're located in a hub city, you'll more than likely randomly hit a MP dining location more than once a year. One of my local bars is, and since I frequent it once a month, I now get 5x miles on MP dining transactions, so 5% off beers
This isn't at all unreasonable. UA is a business, not a charity, and the point of a loyalty program is to reward those who are most loyal. budget rental cars in oahu Threatening to take your business elsewhere because UA wants your loyalty doesn't seem very loyal to me at all.
My original post talked about how my miles are set to expire next year and that I don't think that is fair. Whether or not I "ride" on an aircraft with greater frequency than anyone else on this site is really inconsequential. I'm not looking for "perks" budget rental cars in oahu or "upgrades" similar to somone who is always catching flights. What I do expect is that "points" that I've paid for over the better part of a decade not vanish. I shouldn't have to sign up for a credit card I don't need or other programs budget rental cars in oahu that the carrier operates.
