A cruise offers a wonderful and unique vacation experience: enjoy the beauty of the deep blue sea and feel the salty brush of the wind on your cheeks. Six years ago, I went on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea and I would do it again! I like the fact that transportation isn t the main purpose of the ship: it s rather a combination of getting a chance to experience different destinations on first hand on board a luxurious vessel and then enjoying the breathtaking views from the top deck.
This summer my parents and some of their good friends went on a one week Nordic Cruise on the vessel Vision of the Seas and visited the following destinations (there is a departure from each city every day): Stockholm Helsinki Sankt Petersburg one day on the sea Riga Gdansk Visby Stockholm (because of rough sea, unfortunately the vessel could not dock in Sankt Petersburg). They had a great time, enjoyed the Nordic summer nights from their floating holiday home (as my mom describes it) and the great food and wine served small luxury hotels dublin on board.
