Stebbijo (re: Feds: Hart s plan not feasible ) Today, I realized what a smart and rational man Phil Hart is and what a service he is to many of us - however, there are many who do not have the courage to say what they are thinking because they fear the government aka as the IRS. They go after dead dogs. Phil Hart s plan is more than generous - he is cooperating to work with them and has volunteered a solution. The IRS is the most disgusting arm of harrassment we have - just wait till they come after you because palladium hotels and resorts you can t pay health insurance that satisfies their demands. Believe me, you will get your turn - it happens to everyone. Right now you think you are safe, but you are not it s coming - count on it.
Phil Hart is paying just not enough to satisfy the demands of the IRS. You have to remember he wrote a book about taxes - he won t hand over his list of buyers. It s pretty obvious what is going on - they refuse to work with him - they want it all including his career. They are intentionally ruining him - he is the example - so we all get the point.
I will work part time - only. My husband will quit his job and go back to school. We will suck the government dry with food stamps, energy programs, education grants and whatever we can get. I am not killing myself for those pathetic morons. palladium hotels and resorts I am too old for their crap.
There are people who do everything right - the IRS makes mistakes BIG ones - but that s our problem. Hopefully you have the money for the attorney to help you when it finally happens count on it, it will.
I am going to brandish my food stamps like a gun while I smile while I spen MY money coming back to me - I am getting my money back. And, I will sell plasma for spending money - it s nice to have a plan in place when you have had your fill of government CRAP.
No, I do not fear the IRS. This year they disallowed my HSA adjustment because my bank did not send me (or the IRS) the proper form. I wrote a short, simple letter with my Dec. 2011 account statement. Problem solved. My business is semi-weekly payroll tax filer, and I was late on a payment because I included taxes on mid-period employee bonuses with the regular taxes of the subsequent week (all taxes must be paid within 3 business days of the date of liability). (yes, I still give out employee bonuses in this economy. ) They wrote me a stern letter telling me I was a bad boy for submitting the taxes a few days late. But, they waived all penalties palladium hotels and resorts and fees and said, just don't do it again. Problem solved.
If you pay your taxes and your fair share of the public goods and services you receive and use, there is no problem. palladium hotels and resorts People like Hart take their own freedoms away by their own self-centered stupidity.
The I don t agree with the system so I m not going to pay my taxes argument is absurd, irresponsible, and self-indulgent. I don t like taxes but understand how necessary they are for living a very comfortable life compared to much of the world. If you think a system is flawed and the best way to deal with it is to flout it or exploit it, then congratulations on being proud of your status as drain on society that the rest of us are responsible enough to make up for.
No. My experience has been similar to MatthewRoots - the tax laws and regs are sometimes complex and it isn t too hard to make a technical mistake, especially if you are running your own business. But, if you have been paying and acting in good faith, I ve generally found that they will overlook technical errors as long as you correct them promptly. Of course, they to tend to frown when individuals decide to unilateral create new rules for themselves. We are a nation of laws, not of men, or something like that
The IRS is a pushover, if you show good intent. The more complicated your taxes and more willingness to use dodges or work the edges, the more attention you will get. My spouse did equalization taxes for overseas employees. The IRS was alway happy to talk and listen. Sounds like the person in question here is trying to catch flies with vinegar palladium hotels and resorts instead of honey.
I have no problem with the IRS, pay my taxes faithfully. I also believe Hart is the only one that ruined Hart s career, financial stability, etc, not the IRS. He has had plent of chances to correct the situation but has continued palladium hotels and resorts to dodge his responsibilities and hide assets.
Anyway - Phil Hart is paying just not enough to satisfy the demands of the IRS. You have to remember he wrote a book about taxes - he won't hand over his list of buyers. It's pretty obvious what is going on - they refuse to work with him - they want it all including his career. They are intentionally ruining him - he is the example - so we all get the point. Basically, they disallowed all of his business deductions. Even ones that are pretty clear, are not usually questioned. He admits he owes, and is paying, SOMETHING, just not what they are saying it is. The problem was, he blew his appeals deadline, and the court wouldn t accept his argument that the deadline was tolled during his time in Boise. So he s stuck with it, unless he can work something out in the Bankrutpcy, which isn t looking promising.
