I mentioned last week the Coolest Slumber Party the Shibley Smiles attended. This weekend event was hosted by and at the Hilton fox rental car Garden Inn . We spent two nights at the hotel, as our vacation was cut a little short.
We arrived Friday afternoon around 4:30. When we went to check in we were met by a friendly Hilton Garden Inn representative. They had asked if we had ever stayed at their Hilton Garden Inn before, in which I replied, No . I was then filled in on some of the wonderful perks that came with staying at the Hilton Garden Inn . The hotel is an official Sea World on-site hotel. Which means it comes with some really great benefits for Sea World goers.
When the boys heard Quick Queue, and front of the line you would have thought we won the lottery. Needless to say this was one benefit that we used fully, or I should say THEY did. We also received a discount card to be used while shopping and dining. The majority of the time I forgot to use it but I did remember it when our lunch came up to $60. As for the free transportation provided by Hilton Garden Inn , we decided to take our own car. However it really is within walking distance (if you feel like walking back after a long day in the sun), which is great for travelers who may not have the option fox rental car of a car, use the free transportation provided, or just want to enjoy a walk in Orlando.
Armed with our Sea World benefits and instructions from the friendly Hilton Garden Inn representative to come back down in the morning to get our bracelets (first come first serve), we made it up to our room on the 7th floor. After a battle of WHO gets to push the elevator button we found our adjoining rooms. fox rental car With 5 of us it is great when we are treated to adjoining rooms, letting the kids have their own TV and hubby his. (I just want my computer!)
We were met but a thoughtful goodie bag from Hilton Garden Inn and Sea World. The kids split up the spoils between themselves amicably which is not the norm. Thank you Sea World and Hilton fox rental car Garden Inn!
I almost never stay at a hotel anymore that doesn t include a refrigerator. We like to purchase canned soda and bottled water to have on hand when we return from long days running around Orlando. I was smart had it all planned out and purchased some snacks and soda. Had us all packed and guess what I left in the refrigerator at home? You guessed it the sodas! Thankfully there was a CVS right across the street from the Hilton fox rental car Garden Inn so we made a pit stop and grabbed some refreshments.
We didn t get a chance to visit the lounge but we did have breakfast Sunday morning at the Great American Grill. Before a fun filled day spent at Wonder Works and shopping fox rental car we had to fuel up. The breakfast was a buffet style breakfast which is my favorite. I love buffets and being able to get a little bit of everything. From pancakes and eggs, to bacon and handmade fox rental car waffles we had a choice of just about anything. Nick opted for the pancakes and informed me they were so good and better then mine, or just a little better fox rental car he followed fox rental car up with quickly. Can t fault the kid for his honesty though I personally think my pancakes are the best. Buddy filled his plate with eggs and ketchup, or maybe it was filled with ketchup fox rental car with a little bit of eggs it was too hard to tell.
Honey, the good eater that she is, loved the cantaloupe and pineapple and opted for the pancakes as well. Hubby and I well we tried just about everything pancakes, bacon, biscuits, yummy sugary treats, and more. Though they did have the option to make waffles,, and several kinds vanilla, strawberry, and more no one at with the Shibley Smiles took part. I think the kids wanted to eat and run and get on with the fun day. As we were living the dining area we saw someone created those cute balloon animals. The kids didn t want to stay long enough fox rental car to get their own but I love when they come around.
After both of our adventurous days we ended with a little dip in the pool. One night they were showing a movie out on the pool deck which was fun for anyone interested. For the most part I let the kids play while I played on the iPad and read a book. (Hubby was upstairs relaxing with his TV). The night was breezing and a nice night to be relaxing by the pool.
We had a wonderful visit at the Hilton Garden Inn and our favorite features were the Sea World benefits and easy access to entertainment and dining.
