Fairmont Hotels and Resorts has joined a growing number of hotel groups in removing shark fin from its hotel menus in China, with immediate effect. The Fairmont Singapore removed shark fin soup from its menus in 2009.

Reflecting a commitment to Corporate Social Responsibity (CSR), Fairmont launched s Sustainable princess cruise lines website Seafood initiative in 2009.
